The KCD Electric Wire Rope Winch comes with a 5 HP motor and an 8 mm diameter wire rope measuring 100 metres in length. It provides powered rope winding and unwinding for material handling tasks in a properly designed and installed system.
This configuration can be considered for construction and industrial applications where the required load, travel distance and operating conditions match the winch’s specifications. Building materials, tools and other goods may be handled using suitable rated accessories, provided the total load remains within the approved capacity.
The 100 metre specification refers to the total wire rope length. Actual usable lifting height depends on the mounting position, rope routing and the rope that must remain on the drum. Therefore, rope length and lifting height should be entered as separate specifications on the product page.
For installation with a mini crane or another supporting frame, verify mounting compatibility and the rating of the complete assembly. The winch’s motor power alone does not establish the lifting capacity of the system.
